Strength - Over 40s
Small-group strength training built for your 40s, 50s and beyond.
Build real strength, move better, and train with a small crew who'll push you and back you - coached by Jeremy and Claire, capped at 8 people per session.
Why
TRIBE Strength
As humans we’re made to crawl, walk, run, jump, defend, carry, climb, throw, lift and balance. TRIBE helps you reconnect with your strong, adaptable body — expect steady improvement, and a lightness in your daily step.
This is training built for people who want to stay capable – not just today, but for the decade ahead. Whether you’re returning to training after a break, building on an existing base, or starting properly for the first time, we meet you where you are and progress you from there.

What happens in a session
Every session runs 60 minutes, built around a simple foundation: Mobilise > Activate > Strengthen.
Warm-up and Mobility – 8 minutes Focused preparation for key joints like the shoulders, spine and hips using mobility drills and activation work.
Functional Strength and Conditioning – 36 minutes The main training block, built around movements we rely on in daily life — push and pull, squat and lunge, bend and twist, crawl and climb, carry and balance. We train across all three planes of movement using a wide range of equipment: body weight, resistance bands, kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls, jungle gym, Swiss balls, agility tools, monkey bars, Indian clubs and more.
Core Strength – 6 minutes Targeted work for your abs, glutes and lower back to improve trunk control and support whole-body movement.
Movement Challenge – 2 minutes A new, unfamiliar task to challenge coordination, balance and mental focus.
Cool Down and Recovery – 8 minutes Foam rolling, mobility tools and guided movement to support recovery and prepare your body for next time.

How it works
TRIBE runs in 10-week blocks aligned with NSW school terms. You pick the session times that suit your week – we handle the rest: tracking your progress, planning your workouts, and helping you settle into the crew.
Session times: 6am, 9am, 10am, 12pm & 5:30pm Same time, same crew each week — strict cap of 8 people per class to keep it personal and focused.
We coach proper technique and show you how to adjust movements to suit your body on the day – whether that means making things easier, harder, or just right.
Start with TRIBE ready
Before jumping into group training, you’ll complete a TRIBE Ready intro session – a 40-minute one-on-one in the studio.
We use this time to get to know how your body moves. Through a guided movement screen, we’ll identify what you’re doing well and where there’s room to improve, so we can tailor your training for maximum safety and long-term progress. From there, we’ll introduce a few key exercises to help you build awareness, confidence and a foundation of strength before joining your group.
Sometimes one session is all you need. Sometimes we recommend a follow-up or two – it depends on you.
What you’ll gain:
- Confidence in your movement
- A training plan that makes sense for your body
- A small, welcoming group who’ll cheer you on
- Progress that feels good – and lasts
