The best detoxifying juice

As we move further into warmer months it becomes easier to improve our health on the inside without feeling too cold.

Juicing is a great way to improve digestive system health as it places less load on the system thereby giving it a chance to rest and repair.

Once of the most effective juice mixes is the combination of beetroot, carrot, celery and ginger.

Beetroot: great source of folate, manganese. Betaine protects against liver disease. Research has shown it lowers blood pressure and may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Carrot: High in carotenes which are metabolised into Vitamin A.

Celery: High in Vitamin K. A great digestive and cardiovascular support.

Ginger: It relaxes and soothes the gastrointestinal tract and inhibits the formation of inflammatory compounds.

Recipe – 2 medium beets, 2 large carrots, teaspoon of ground ginger and 2 sticks of celery will make ~ 400ml of juice.
